Full practice members are certified by the CAMRT and are employed in the field of medical radiation technology.
Limited practice members have completed an education program for limited practice recognized by the BCAMRT. These individuals must practice within an approved scope of practice and are ineligible to be certified by CAMRT.
Non-practicing members previously held a full practice or limited practice membership but are no longer employed in the field of medical radiation technology. Non-practicing members are not eligible for election to the Board.
Senior members have been BCAMRT members for at least 10 years and CAMRT members for at least 30 years and are no longer employed in the field.
Student members are enrolled in a recognized program or have recently graduated from and are in the process of writing the CAMRT exam. Student members are not eligible for election to the Board.
Honorary members are appointed for life by the BCAMRT Board for extraordinary services to the association or to the profession. An honorary member must have been a full practice member immediately before being appointed an honorary member to have voting privileges or be eligible for election.
