Details:

The BCAMRT is in the process of re-evaluating its committee structure and redefining those committees which it needs to re-activate in order to move forward with strength and purpose into the next decade.

To assist the Board in the redesign of our volunteer committee structure, we are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator. The role of this Volunteer Coordinator would include:

  • Liaising with the BCAMRT board of directors on the development of the new volunteer structure and the recruitment of specific volunteers.
  • Recruiting chairs and members for these committees, utilizing personal networks as well as the volunteer recruitment page on BCAMRT’s new website.
  • Developing a welcoming package for new volunteers.
  • Working with the committee members to develop terms of reference for each key committee; these terms of reference would be approved by the BCAMRT board.

We are seeking a high-energy individual who can make a commitment of a minimum of one year to this very vital task. This is a very fundamental role for the BCAMRT at its stage of evolution, and this volunteer assignment would be a great career and personal development opportunity, as well as an exciting and rewarding experience.
