BCAMRT members fill volunteer positions on many important committees and offices in the Association. These technologists are responsible for everything from continuing education to keeping historical data of the association. Through these volunteers, the members have assurance that educational seminars are held for technologists and students throughout the year, that members receive regular communication through publications such as Radiaction and Board Room News, and that new members are welcomed into the profession at the annual Commencement Ceremony.

The structure, membership and duties of the volunteer committees will be reviewed in 2010 by the BCAMRT Board of Directors.

The BCAMRT Board has appointed two volunteer co-chairs to assist the Board in the redesign of a new volunteer committee structure.  Para Kouhestani, RTT, BTech (pkouhestani@bccancer.bc.ca) and Janel Dykstra, RTR, BSc (Janel.Dykstra@interiorhealth.ca) are coordinating volunteer committees for the BCAMRT.  Please contact them if you wish to volunteer for a committee.
